Contraindications

Absolute

  • Hypersensitivity to hydrochlorothiazide or other sulfonamide-derived drugs.
  • Anuria.
  • Severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance < 30 ml/min).
  • Severe hepatic impairment.
  • Refractory hypokalemia, hyponatremia, hypercalcemia.
