  • Active venous thromboembolism or current or prior arterial/cardiovascular disease; diabetes with vascular involvement.
  • Severe liver disease, liver tumor, hormone-dependent neoplasia, undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, or hypersensitivity.

Pregnancy and lactation
