Contraindications

Absolute

  • Hypersensitivity to dihydropyridines.
  • Left ventricular outflow tract obstruction.
  • Untreated congestive heart failure.
  • Unstable angina or recent myocardial infarction (within the last month).
  • Severe hepatic or renal impairment.
  • Concomitant use with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors, cyclosporine, or grapefruit juice.
  • Pregnancy and women of childbearing potential not using contraception.
