Contraindications

Absolute

  • Hypersensitivity to fenofibrate or excipients, including allergy to peanut, soy or related products.
  • Hepatic impairment, known gallbladder disease or severe renal impairment with eGFR <30.
  • Acute or chronic pancreatitis, except acute pancreatitis caused by severe hypertriglyceridemia.
  • Previous photosensitivity or phototoxicity with fibrates or ketoprofen.
