Approved indications
- Inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of atopic dermatitis, neurodermatitis, contact dermatitis, and psoriasis that respond to corticosteroids.
Contraindications
Absolute
- Hypersensitivity to diflorasone or any component.
- Tuberculosis or syphilis, bacterial, viral, or fungal skin infection, vaccination reactions, rosacea, perioral dermatitis, acne, ocular use, wounds or ulcers; children younger than 1 year.
Clinical warnings
- Major warning · Use the smallest effective amount for the shortest possible time. Large areas, prolonged use, an impaired skin barrier, and occlusion increase absorption and may cause reversible HPA-axis suppression, Cushing syndrome, hyperglycemia, or glucosuria; children are more susceptible. — CIMA/AEMPS, ficha técnica 56346
- Avoid eye contact. Stop if irritation or sensitization occurs. Treat any skin infection; if it does not respond promptly, stop the corticosteroid until it is controlled. — CIMA/AEMPS, ficha técnica 56346
- Major warning · Systemic toxicity may occur if the total amount exceeds 30 g per week in adults or 10 g per week in young children. Keep exposure below these thresholds and use the smallest effective amount. — CIMA/AEMPS, ficha técnica 56346

Pregnancy and lactation
No specific recommendation is established during pregnancy. During breastfeeding, decide whether to stop breastfeeding or stop treatment and do not apply to the breasts.
