Absolute

  • Hypersensitivity to ceftriaxone or cephalosporins, or a history of a severe immediate reaction to penicillins or other beta-lactams.
  • Premature neonates up to a postmenstrual age of 41 weeks, hyperbilirubinemic neonates, and neonates up to 28 days who require or may require intravenous calcium.
