Contraindications

Absolute

  • Hypersensitivity to moxifloxacin or other quinolones; pregnancy, breastfeeding, or age under 18 years; congenital or acquired prolonged QT, uncorrected hypokalemia, clinically relevant bradycardia, heart failure with reduced ejection fraction, symptomatic arrhythmia, or treatment with other QT-prolonging drugs; Child-Pugh C hepatic impairment or transaminases >5 times the upper limit.

Tendon rupture, persistent peripheral neuropathy, severe neuropsychiatric reaction, anaphylaxis, and aortic dissection
