  • Hypersensitivity to melphalan or its excipients, and breastfeeding.

Common (≥1%)

Leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea

Pregnancy and lactation

Avoid melphalan during pregnancy, especially in the first trimester, unless absolutely essential. Use contraception during treatment and for 6 months afterward in women and 3 months afterward in men. Do not breastfeed.
