  • Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
  • Presence of an untreated localized infection involving the nasal mucosa.
  • Recent nasal surgery or nasal trauma, until healing has occurred.

Pregnancy and lactation

There are no or limited amount of data from the use in pregnant women. It should not be used during pregnancy unless the potential benefit justifies the potential risk. It is unknown whether it is excreted in human milk; a decision must be made whether to discontinue breast-feeding or to discontinue therapy.
